Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all post closing loan documentation. Prepares loan documents and performs wire disbursement as determined by Senior closer/Branch Manager.
Functions:
Review loan documentation for siguatures and compliance with state and federal laws.
· Compare loan documents to loan file documentation and LPS for accuracy.
· Review title commitment in order to ensure acceptable title policy is issued post closing.
· Reviews closing instructions and loan conditions to ensure acceptablitlity and proper signoff.
· Communicate with Attorney/Closing Agent for any post-closing follow-up.
· Review HUD-1 settlement statement for accuracy with loan documents and policies and procedures.
· Take the lead in resolution of 96 hours issues as reuqested by Senior Closer or Branch Manager
· Monitor and ensure timely delivery of base fiels to corporate office as requested by Senior Closer or Branch Manager
· As back up, perform wire disbursement as determined by Senior Closer or Branch Manager.
· Input loans for closing to assist with department overflow.
Qualifications:
Six months to one year experience in mortgage banking.
· Six months to one year experience in computer data entry.
· Detailed oriented.
· General knowledge of wholesale residential lending operations.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Good Organizational skills.
· Basic computer knowledge and capabilities.
· Customer Service and team oriented
