Duties: Responsible for creation of company-wide program/project
budget & financials, and project reporting functions within Project
Management Office. Work closely with Finance Department and Sr. Project
Managers to develop and review costs/benefits analysis (CBAs) and business
case justification.
Essential Job Functions - Create and
maintain a standard set of project management templates. - Champion
the selection and assist in the deployment of project management tools.
- Develop and support project reporting at all levels within the
organization. - Create and utilize project manager skills inventory
tools/processes - Coach and mentor project managers. - Lead
project management certification program. - Blend Project Management
methodology into SDLC (Systems Development Lifecycle) and other
methodologies - Maintain a master list of IT projects, their
associated metrics and status. - Develop and maintain training
standards for all project managers. - Develop and maintain PMO website
that will aid in communication and standardization of PM processes. -
Conduct project audits to track project progress and provide feedback to
project managers. - Develop and maintain a ÂLessons Learned library.
- Capture, analyze and publish metrics as they pertain to the PMO.
- Communicate effectively with multiple levels within the IT
department and the company. Initiate and oversee an effective process
for change management. - Serve as change agent for continuous process
improvement through utilization of project management methodologies.

Experience-Education - BachelorÂs degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent
work experience. Advanced degree is a plus. - More than 10 years IT
and business consulting experience to include short-term and long-range
strategic planning, budgeting, systems analysis and design, out of which 6
years should be technology projects - 7 years overall project
management experience to include experience leading large missions
critical programs that involve significant business and technology change.
Five or more years experience managing projects in a business environment.
PMO experience is a plus. - Expert knowledge of project management
tools and methodologies. - Experience working with customers to
develop solutions to complex business problems.
Skills-Qualifications-Training - PMP certification from the
Project Management Institute (PMI) highly desired - Demonstrated
